Service Questions

Understand the distinction before you choose.

Short answers to the questions that most often determine which service applies.

What is the difference between an apostille and legalization?

An apostille is generally used for Hague Convention destinations. Non-Hague destinations may require additional authentication and embassy or consular legalization.

Will my document be notarized during the consultation?

No. The consultation is for discussing your needs, service information, and preparation. If notarization or another document service is needed, the appropriate service is arranged separately.

Can translation be coordinated with an apostille?

Yes. Certified translation may be coordinated with notarization, apostille, authentication, or legalization when the receiving authority requires it.

Can EZPZ obtain the document before processing it?

For eligible U.S. public records, EZPZ can help obtain a certified copy from the appropriate issuing office and then coordinate related services.

Can completed documents be shipped internationally?

International delivery can be arranged through available tracked carrier options, including DHL. Timing and availability depend on the destination and request.
